Hi There,

I have a problem with my G4-450 at work. When i shut it down, it restarts. Via the special menu and via the physic on/ off button on the keyboar.) It happend with system 9.1US, so i updated first the firmware, didn't work. So i updated to 9.2.1US and still the damn thing won't turn off. Can anyone help me? Thanks

What peripheral devices are attached?
Unplug all USB devices and put the keyboard into port 1 on the computer.
Then try - it should work.
I'd say its a peripheral problem.

If not, does shutting down while running no extensions help? (Boot with shift key then try...)

First off all thanks for replying

The only peripheral that is attached to this computer is a Wacom tablet. I've detached it, but it didn't seem to work. Than i tried connecting the keyboard to usb port 1, And it worked, i could turn my 'puter off. But

The cord is too small so i'll have to connect it to the Apple monitor (with 4 usb ports) and that way it still won't shut down. I also tried detaching the wacom tablet, bit that didn't seem to work either...

So ehmmm any other ideas maybe
