having font troubles in OS9

I have a new iMac with OS9 installed and the fonts that came installed all work fine. However, when I tried to view or print fonts that I use at work, they appear bitmapped on both my screen and on paper. I've never had this problem with ATM.

What am I doing wrong????

I've placed both the screen font and printer font for each font family in the Fonts folder. And in my control panels under "Appearance," I checked the button for anti-aliasing any type larger than 12 point.

I searched for an answer on the Apple web site with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you running the latest version of ATM? The latest is 4.5.2.

I thought ATM was not compatible with OS9.

Versions other that 4.5.2 are incompatible. You can download that version from Adobe.
