downloaded apple disc burner.
went to backup my HD, discovered a disc burner cache pref file, created by initializing the cd, the SIZE of the cd (702MG!)...
so, surprise, there' s not enough room on the cd to backup.

HELP!

actually, just tried this, put the discburnercache on the desktop.
20 minutes later, at the very last step, tells me the disk is bad.
gonna try it again, then...back to toast!

any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated..!

Disc Burner is crap. Use Toast for your own sake!

agreed.
had to back up, isolating all the prefs BUT the discburnercache, so the backup worked, took for-e-v-e-r...
toast makes more sense, so i AM GOING BACK.
itunes: 4 stars, discburner:1...

Disc burner is pretty good for a free application program, it has only the one problem, that being the cache.
