duboy,
Try using FinderPop
http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=1640.
You can set it so that it lists all available drives when control clicking on a file (or clicking anywhere in the Finder, for that matter). You can then navigate through the drives and subfolders, much like the apple menu 'submenus' option. Just click on the location that you want to move the original file or folder and it will give you a dialog box asking whether you want to make an alias, copy, or just move the item.
What's best about FinderPop is that it enables "control-free" access to the pop-up menus. Just hold your mouse button down for a sec (you can adjust how long it waits) and the pop-up menu will automatically activate.
Best of all it's FREE! Well, technically it is 'pintware', but I'll let you check that out for yourself
