i accidentally deleted stickies from the apple menu. could someone send it to me or maybe point me somewhere i could get it without having to go and dig out the system install cd?

Try using Find File, Sherlock, or Sherlock 2 to locate the file. If you can, drop it onto your Apple Menu Items folder. If you can't, dig out the system software CD.
