I don't have it either, but I did in 9.0.4. Now all i have is restart after a crash. Oh well, I hated that option anyway.

That option I believe only shows up on the laptop models now...as that is where it is intended to be used and should have showed up before.

Yeah? I just checked and you must be smokin' something. Are you sure that your copy of 9.1 allows processor cycling?

9.1 appears to be more intelligent than 9.0.4. On my G4 on 9.0.4, I had access to processor cycling and wake when modem detects a ring. I don't have a modem(DSL) and a desktop doesn't need processor cycling. On the same Mac, 9.1 has no option for cycling and the wake on ring is greyed out.
I like 9.1 and am slowly converting over to make sure and not drag over a few conflicts I have developed on 9.0.4.

esquimau, I looked before I posted. I'll take a screenshot if ya want it, but I promise you it's right where I said it is, and my iBook is running 9.1.
The portable vs desktop difference sounds plausible... what machine are you using?

Okay, Yuri1419 I'll buy the portable v. desktop scenario. I should have been more specific about my hardware. I'm using a 400MHz iMac DV SE.

Guys, it is the portable vs. the desktop scenario like i saaid above. I don't make wild assertations, I speak the truth.
Processor cycling is only advantageous for portable owners since it slows the processor when not needed to save battery power. So in 9.1 Apple cleaned up some of the UI and machine ID issues and made sure only the machines that would benefit from this option could use it.
