Who out there has upgraded and has stability increased or decreased. On 9.0.4, I'm reasonably happy, but my two biggest complaints are that the computer fails to go to or wake up from sleep very often, and that it occasionally hangs when I try to use the application menu.

I've upgraded to 9.1 I love it, seems fast4er more stable. I have had some problems with Waking from sleep as well but I may just need to re-install OS. Other than that no problems here.

Running 9.1 on my PowerBook G3 (firewire). Waking up from sleep seems to have improved (both speed and reliability).
Overall stability is better. I am experiencing problems with DreamWeaver though :-(

My PB G3 Series 250 w/13.3" screen got much cooler. Gauge Pro doesn't seem to notice much change in internal temp but it takes much longer to get hot and doesn't feel as warm on my lap. In fact I ran the battery down (about two hours) using in on my lap and it never got hot like it used to. I've just been burning some CD's for the first time with 9.1 and since Toast takes over the processor and bus, it normally gets warm doing this. Not today.
It feels a little faster overall but shuts down/sleeps and wakes up in record time! I just love the new key commands like Cmd-Sft-Delete for empty the Trash. At last!

Okay, sounds like its worth it, unless all other Powerbook G3 users who upgraded totally lost their computers in which case they wouldn't be able to post here.
Here I go. I'll let you know how it went if I can.
