Installing OS 8.6

Hello,
I'm running OS 8 right now. I got OS 8.6 recently and when I went to install the system a message popped up saying that I formated my hard drive with a 3rd party utility and I need to update my hard drive drivers. I updated them with Hard Disk Toolkit 4.0. The installer says I still need to update the drivers. Is there anyway I can do this without reformating the hard drive?

The installer always says that. As you begin the process, click on the options button and uncheck update hard disk drivers. Your drivers are already compatible with 8.6.
