Speakable Items Won't Turn On

	I just installed Apple Speech Recognition on my G3 9.04 so I could control soundjam while I was in bed. I've use it before, but I'm not sure if I used it under OS9 before. Anyway, it doesn't work, anytime I choose any sound input from the pop up menu, I get an error, but when I choose the right one, after I get the error, if I turn speakable items off then back on, it will work for about 5 seconds, then it will not hear me anymore. Any ideas? ------------------ I see dead people.
