Hi,

When I chose preferences for my system's setup (being the patriotic Canadian I am) I chose Canadian as my primary language. For some reason though, somethings (the dates for example) are now in French. I've tried using the US keyboard, but to no avail.

Does anyone know how I can get English back without having to reinstall the system software?

Surprise! This is a little quirk Apple gave us in OS 9.

When you show your location as anywhere in Canada when setting up,
the keyboard, time/date and numbers configurations all go French!

Some programmer in Cupertino got it backwards and figured Canada was
75% French and 25% English!

The only solution is to change the settings in your Keyboard, Numbers and
Time/Date control panels.
