sherlock's seizing up

Sherlock is seizing up on me whenever I’m running IE5. Force quitting doesn’t work and I have to restart from the side button, dropping my my connection.

I recently downloaded ‘sherlock2 no ads patch’. That’s when the problem seemed to start.

Got sherlock to look inside and it came up with two 1.4Mb app versions of itself: ‘sherlock2’ and ‘sherlock2 no ads’.

Trashing the imposter didn’t fix the problem.

Have also downloaded Glooton [for additional search sites] and believe it operates through sherlock. I haven’t taken it out of the box yet.

Have also downloaded a handful of plug-ins over the last month or so.

If anyone’s got any bright ideas I’d be glad to hear them.

First of all, try running with just the default plugins turned on.
Revert Sherlock totally to its original way...
Reinstall if necessary. Trash its prefs too.

Remembered I'd boosted sherlock's memory to 4 grand for some stupid reason.

Reverted, restarted and all seems well: Sherlock, IE5 and posthumanus are cohabitating.

Trashed the prefs anyway. Couldn't figure out how to default plug-ins though.

Gratitude, Cipher 13.
