Hello,
I've connected to several of my other machines from my G4 via appletalk and IP in the chooser. However, those other machines aren't always on. Now, when I boot my G4 up, it takes forever while it tries to connect to the other machines. I've tried to find the correct preferences to remove, but to no avail.
Can someone tell me how to clear out all my chooser preferences?

Log onto the server while it is on, and uncheck the box that says "connect to this server at startup" or whatever.
Also, delete the "Recent Servers" folder in the Apple Menu.

Actually, in OS 9 you throw away the Servers folder in the system folder. The system will recreate it.
