Have set IE5 preferred memory size to 20000; way more than the 4096 suggested. I heard this in a forum.
Is this a good idea?
IE5 unexpectedly quits at least once per eve: A type 2 error occuring.
Also, fear there is killer in Bill’s machine somewhere, but can’t seem to pin down long enough to execute.
By necessity have recently trashed sherlock prefs.
Had stupidly boosted sherlock’s memory to 4grand as experiment, then forgot about it: Sherlock & IE5 seized up. Trashing prefs was one way out before I realised and reverted.
