Hi!
Question: By adding a second ethernet card ona G4, is there ANY way to have two connections running at the same time?

I'm thinking about 1 AppleTalk connection to our network and another to my laptop using a crossover cable.

Please, tell me it is possible and that there's a way

why not just connect the machines to a hub, and have the network connection coming into the hub?

Yes, this could be the basic idea and this is what i am doing at the moment (network of about 25 macs connected using switches). then some of these machines are quite old (performa 630) and there will be quite a lot of traffic betwen the two computers. I don't want it to interfere with the overall performances of the network. (some of these computers are webservers (well, 2/3 of them...)

However, I would still like to know if I can manage to be on 2 separate networks at the same time (without having to go to the Appletalk control panel and switch the ethernet card)
