Apple DVD reinstallation

Thank you for taking my request. I have inadvertently lost my Apple DVD application during a "Spring cleaning". I would like to reinstall it from the disk that came with the PowerBook pismo. I am running OS 9.1.

When I try to reinstall, a message tells me to use the installer. When I click on the installer, the installer activates but installation does not happen.

Can any one tell me how can I go about it?

You will have to specifically install the DVD app only...
You could also use Tome Viewer, available from Versiontracker.com, to extract the DVD app.

Better yet, what system do you have? I, or someone else could send you the required files... that'd be even easier.
