Running on either my G3 Beige 233/64mg or my Performa 6400/G3 240 The disk in my Syquest just lags and can not mount, stopping everything else until I restart with EZ Flier off. Some disks work OK, but most lag. Do these cartridges degrade, should I use LaCie drivers instead of Syquest? Should I throw my 2 EZ fliers in the sea? Thought they were a good removeable solution, even with Syquest's demise

The disks are usually good for a good few years or so..

Try using other drivers. My Syquest EZFlyer disks mounted fine using Intech's Hard Disk SpeedTools, for example.

I have a Mac 6500, with a SyQuest EZ flyer nad have the same trouble, nad have no clue how to fix. I hope more reply to this
