Quicktime at Apple web site....

I want to see the new add on the iPod and the site tells me I need to upgrade to Quicktime 5, but I have os 9.2 with QT 5.0.1
don't understand what is going on...
any help?

What browser are you using? It may be outdated and/or the 5.0.1 plug-in may not even be installed or enabled. Check the folder inside the browser folder called "Plugins".....see if the newest version of the plugin is in there.

I'm using IE 5.0 (2022) and yes, the QT plug-in says Z1-5.0.1
weird!!

That is weird since I have the same browser and OS, and it works like a charm for me?
Uhhh, try re-installing QT, see if that helps. Otherwise I think your copy of IE is defunct.

I had the same problem and I had 5.0.2 installed. So I installed it again and it was happy.
Bloody wierd though.

i'm just annoyed that QT is on the homepage, having a plugin on our index is a royal pain if your browser doesn't support it, and a 250k movie, hello, I'm still in the 56k stone age over here!!!
