hi - first time poster

um...bit embarrasing this, but was wondering which prefs file stores the information that launches server log-on boxes at start-up. i (and others) hve used many different servers from my machine, and when i start up it goes through all of them trying to get me to log on.

i know it's not a disaster, but it's bloody annoying - can anyone advise?

The best way to do it is to just log onto the server - and before you choose what to mount from it, uncheck the checkbox to the right. Do that for each of them. Theres not so many that that gets strenuous are there?

I can't remember which prefs file... Chooser prefs probably...?

There is a folder called "Servers" in your System Folder. Trashing all contents of this folder will usually stop the logins and startup delays. You can also check the Startup Items folder (also in your System Folder) for server aliases to trash.

Note that this method is more suitable for if you have left the network behind. If you are still on the network, and still want to log into some (or all) of your servers now and then, follow Cipher's advice or be selective in which servers you trash.
