I want to be able to check my mac.com account at school but I can't. I can't set up just one computer to recieve my mail beucase I won't always be there. I don't know what to do, I want to check it but I can't. Does anyone know a workaround so that I can just read the mail and see what was written. With my old pop3 account I could telnet into the account and check my mail using pine. Can with work with itools? Please help

You're better off using Mail Siphon to read your mail while at school. It'll let you read/reply/delete your mail on the mail server and not download it. Handy.

hi, maybe I've got a nice solution for your problem. You could make an e-mail account at mail.com (you get 10Mbs here) or yahoo.com or at another webbased e-mail site and then forward your e-mail to the new account (at apple.com) (you have that forward setup on a mac).
If you do this, you can check your e-mail whenever you like on every computer and still use your mac.com account.
