Mac OS 9.1 and Sonnet Nubus

I have a Powermac 7100 with a Sonnet Nubus 266mhz upgrade card.
Is it true these are not compatible with OS 9.1? If not has anyone heard if Sonnet plans to upgrade the drivers?
