hey guys....
i'm runing a Pismo 400 w/ 192 megs of ram.
on friday, i was downloading mp3's using Scouter, the mac port of scour's client. I was also listening to mp3 files at the time, using soundjam.
al of a sudden--the machine froze. i restarted, and the Disk First Aid screen came up, and it found this error:
"Checking disk “Macintosh HD”.

Checking "Mac OS Extended" volume structures.
Checking for locked volume name.
Checking extent BTree.
Checking extent file.
Checking catalog BTree.
Checking catalog file.
Problem: Invalid PEOF, 44263, 1388
Test done. Problems were found, but Disk First Aid cannot repair them."
also, when i try to run MS Entourage or IE 5, i get a "type 2 error" dialouge box, and the programs won't start up.
the first error happened once before--when my machine froze while using macster to download mp3s....which seems odd.
anyone know how i can get that unfixable error taken care of, and get my email and browser back??
