I suspected this all along, but now its official: OS X beta owners get the $30 off the real thing.

Looks like Apple is serious about creating as large of an OS X user base as possible. The $30 was just to make sure only hard-core users got the beta, and provided feedback.

Would Microsoft do this? Would they sell the most advanced OS in the world for only $100 ($70 if you're edu, and $40 if you're edu and beta owner!).

Rock on, Apple!!!
