I have a type 3 error come up and the program quits when I try to select a download folder in the napster program for my 6300 powerpc. Any suggestions?

A type 3 means illegal instruction... and generally, if those happen once, they'll happen again. Under same circumstances, that is. If you know what I mean.
Sorry, I can't help you.
Try deleting the prefs for Napster/Macster and also reinstall it.
