IE5 and itools have worked just fine for me, although there was one time when it didn't. turned out i had inadvertently deleted the itools cookie. reinstalled it and it worked fine again. perhaps you've had a similar sort of situation?

I checked that my cookies in the IEprefs and they were on... don't know 'bout the main pref folder... I'll check that again
