Remote Access Problem

I'm running OS 9.04 on a Pismo PB. When I try to open Remote Access I receive a message that Remote Access requires the 'OpenTpt Remote Access' extension which was not found in the Extensions folder.
The extension is in the Extensions folder. I've tried rebuilding the Desktop, trashing the Finder preferences and Remote Access preferences, and re-installed the OS and Remote Access. None of these fixes worked. Any ideas on how to solve this, short of a clean install, which I haven't done?

well, short of a clean install, i'd check to make sure ALL the opentransport extensions are there, in case you're lacking the modem one or whatever and the error you're getting isn't "accurate". sorry i don't have anything better to offer you...
