OS 8.1 User Creation & File Sharing

in 8.1, in the users and groups CP, when i make a new user how do i specify which hard drive the user may share? thanks. im having a hard time figuring it out!

highlight the drive or folder you wish to share. Get info. Pull down tab and chose Sharing". I like to specify a group instead of one or two users. Do likewise if more than that are logging on as authorized guests

Nope, its not there. As far as i know, the pulldown "sharing" menu started in OS 8.5!

I belive in OS 8.1 the "sharing" command is under the File menu in the finder. Be sure to select what you want to set permissions for first.
