Ok, when Mac OS 9 came out my printer would not work with it. I have an HP DeskJet 670C connected via the Parallel to USB converter from HP. I had to wait almost 5 months for HP to make a drive update. Will the same happen when OS X ships. I would like to be able to print. I could always save my work in lets say Appleworks 6 and then boot-up in Mac OS 9.1 and then print, but that is a hassel. My guess is that HP will make some drivers, but when, who knows. Also anyone who is complaining about OS X needing 128MB of RAM, just go to http://www.memorytogo.com. They have 256MB chips for only $93.00!!

let's hope there are good drivers out there soon.
someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the relative lack of drivers *will* in fact be a headache for early adopters of OSX...

This is very, very true. That and the lack of carbon/cocca software, but Hopefully that will change, as people stick a gui on freebsd programs.

Btw, wrong forum, I'm goning to transfer it to OSX -General
