I started toying around with Speech Recognition in conjunction with AppleScript. All my AS actually "say" something, so I don't need the visual feedback offered by the feedback window when Speech Recognition is on.

The problem is that I don't see anyway to hide it away, since I don't need it, apart of putting it in a corner, off the monitor limits. I tried to play into Speech Recognition resources but that didn't help. Is there any other (more elegant) way to hide that feedback window away?

No you can't completely hide the feedback window. The best you can do is minimize it in a way that the speech isn't showing. Idealy the best way to save screen space is to use the colored lights, which is what I used the last time I played around with it...

I actually like the feedback window, I just don't have screen space for it...

OK! Well thanks for your reply, I won't have to spend more time to find a way to hide that window. In my case, I suppose I do have enough workspace, it's only that I like it clean. One bar on the top, another one for A-Dock with a minimized skin, and that's all.
