i have been wondering if it is possible to prevent an application from showing up in the applications menu in os 9.0.4. the reason i want to be able to do this is because i have programs like EpsonShare which i want to keep running, and might want to command-tab into, but dont want them clogging up my applications menu.

any help would be appreciated

I believe the only way to do this is to change what type of application it is - background on, or something, for example, although that wouldn't work without modification (that would let you use it without making it 'active', which you wouldn't be able to do).
I'm sure there is a third party app somewhere out there that could block certain apps from appearing...
If not, perhaps something that could replace the app menu entirely and allow greater customisation?
