Anyone else have the problem where Apple Video Player doesn't automatically switch the sound input to RCA In when it opens?

Problem with OS9. Don't know why Apple did this, but you have to choose the input source first, and then launch the Video Player. I have a 7500 and wish Apple would make it work like 8.6 did.

Have you tried the latest XVP in the Universal 4.2 installer?
I wouldn't mind just switching to RCA in myself, except it won't let me switch the input source when Apple Video Player is already open. I have to quit out of it first.
that's the only workaround i know of now... remember to select RCA in BEFORE starting apple video player. it works, watching(with sound) the news on #2 monitor as i type
