Anyone else noticed that in 8.6, Sherlock complains about missing libraries if Open Transport is not loaded? If you cannot search for files on your machine without OT, then this is a serious oversight by Apple.
Yes I had the same problem only worse. Since I was upgrading and had OT installed I figured that it would install everthing needed to keep my internet connection alive. Instead, after upgrading I lost Internet as well as Sherlock. Error message states the OTLibUtil doesn't exist.
I installed 8.6 on my 2400 and have the same problem - can't use Sherlock - can't open Netscape - without getting the can't find OTUtilityLib. So what do you do to get things Open Transport working properly?
