hi there,
my brand new 'LaCie 16/8/40' burner with an built-in CD-RW 'Mitsumi CR-4808TE' is not recognized by apple's iTunes 2.0.
what's wrong here?
is there a bug in iTunes 2.0?
how can i get the appropriate driver into the 'authoring support files'?
any help would be appreciated!
regards,
antigates

As I know iTunes will only burn to burners inside apple computers.
Like the burner inside the powermac.
not standalone burners.

hi there,
that is NOT true.
apple IS accepting outstanding burners as FW or USB burners, they have to be listed in the 'apple authoring support files' in the system extensions.
and my question is: does exixt such a driver (for the apple authoring support files' OR does anybody know how to HACK such a driver?
ANY help is VERY appreciated!
regards
