I've broke my installation rule on my Mac - never install more than one item per week to ensure no conflicts. Was running tight on time and I installed the following products:
HP OfficeJet G55 (printer/scanner/copier combo)
Office 2001
Microsoft Entourage
Audion 2

My Mac either freezes (something it never did before!) or crashes with type 2, 3 and buss errors when running any of two of the above.

Anyone know of any weird system extensions, prefs... that might need deleting or updating?

I'm running a G4 with 384 memory, LeCie 6.3.1 firewire external drive, and System 9.04.

Pretty standard applications: Office, GraphicConverter, Napster, Toast 4.1.1

try the conflict catcher. if you dont want to buy it, i think they still have a demo that does the same basic testing
