I have the Control Strip setup to show/hide with a keystroke. If the control strip is hidden, and I press command-Q to quit an application, the control strip sometimes appears. This happens with SoundJam MP and Setting Sun. Has anyone else had this problem?

ok, I assume you mean that when you quit the mentioned apps with command-Q, the control strip appears (sometimes)? and this occurs only when you quit those mentioned apps?

first I'd toss the control strip pref's, then if that didn't help after resetting the pref's as desired, I'd change the hot key command to hide/show the control strip...

That's what I meant (the way you explained) it.

I know that trashing the prefs won't work... I have this problem on Macs old and new, OS 8.6 and OS 9.

I tried changing the key combo but that didn't do anything. Seems to be a problem between the apps and the OS... hmm...
