My girlfriend is using a G3/400,8.6 at work. We are trying to share some files, but she is having a hard time using iTools.

At the following site, there is a patch that allowed her to modify the instaler and sign up w/8.6. http://homepage.mac.com/misve/

She DOES have an active account, and I can open her shared folder, but she cannot access her iDisk from work. I read that there was an additional xtnsn that had to go in the xt folder. Any advice??

have your g enable her AppleShare extension in the Extensions Manager

If she is behind a firewall at work, certain ports on it must be opened to be able to use AppleShare over IP.

I don't remember which ports, but there is a website out there with them posted.
