Hey all. I was asked to troubleshoot a "Multiple System Folders" issue on a friend's machine that started when installing 9.1 (the disc that came with OS X) over 8.6. It ended up with no bootable Classic system whatsoever. I have OS X installed over OS 9.1, but it's multiple OS 9.1 SF's that we've got, all visible in OS X's Startup Disk panel. I ended up trashing the entire OS 9.1 system folder but reinstalling most extnsions from a backup extensions folder after reinstalling the system. Though it's now bootable, I am still seeing unbootable ghost system folders - 2 extra, I think - in the X panel. How do I find these extra folders and send them to their death?
Thanks.
