Help with VPC 4.0.1 Error

I'm having a major problem with Virtual PC 4.0.1 and need help. I have a PB G3/333mhz 192MB RAM with MacOS 9.1 and VPC 4.0.1 I am trying to install Win98 onto a new HD file. But, everytime I get a type 3 error and VPC quits during the setup wizard. I've reinstalled VPC several times and verified that my disc is good. Connectix help hasn't been much help.... Thanks if you have any ideas.

trash the preference file... that might help some.

Try installing the version of input sprockets that came on the VPC CD, that worked for me. however if I drag the window from one monitor to the other it crashes.. has anyone else had this problem?
