I remember using a little utility years ago with my old PowerMac 6100 that would let you change the system's machine ID, or at least the ID reported to applications that were asking for it. Does anybody know of such a utility??

The control panel "MachID Wannabe" will let you change the system's machine ID. To get it, go to http://developer.apple.com and download the Installer SDK 1.24.
