I 'm thinking of adding 256MB Ram to imac dvse with 128MB on board. Has anybody done this? What are the some of the benefits that you have enjoyed from this addition?

All that this would let you do is run more applications (or give current ones more RAM). Suffice to say, if you're not running into out of memory errors you should be safe.

If you are, then you may as well save your money and just go with a 128 MB module that is more than enough for your needs.

You won't experience any speed boost.
