I am trying to learn CGI but I want to know how I can test the scripts in a web browser. I know how to use my computer as a webserver using the websharing control panel but I would like to know how to make my scripts viewable on my ibook.

I'm not a CGI expert, but I can try to point you toward some online MacPerl and CGI resources, in case you're not yet aware of them.

• The MacPerl web site's Support & Resources page, which contains several pointers to primers, mailing lists, etc.
• Matthias Neeracher's MacPerl Homepage (he's the author of the major MacPerl port of the Perl language).
• O'Reilly & Associates' CGI Programming on the World Wide Web online book.
• Christopher Nandor (C2 Productions)'s Perl & MacPerl sub-site (the site owner is a major Perl & MacPerl guru).
