keyboard shortcuts not working...

I had resedit running on my computer when my two year old daughter got to it and started playing on the keyboard. Now the none of the keyboard shortcuts(like pressing Command Q for quit) will not work. Does anyone know how to get it working again? I think I will have to use resedit but not sure how to do the code. In fact I don't know how to use resedit at all. I've already tried zapping the PRAM but to no avail. Thanks...

try deleting your keyboard prefs
