hi all:

i know its not listed in the compatible drive mechanisms, but i just bought a plextor 16x CDRW in an ADS Pyro Firewire drive kit. just before i bought it i could have SWORN that i saw posting of folks who got these drives to work with iTunes and DiskBurner. but for the life of me, i can't make the iTunes or DiskBurner see the drive.

is there any workaround for this aside from waiting for iTunes 1.2?

oddly, when i run DiskBurner it prompts me to insert a blank disk. after i insert a CDR i'm asked which format i want (HFS, ISO 9660, auidoCD) and the icon appears on the desktop. i can copy files to the CDR icon, and it is only when i try to BURN the CD that DiskBurner tells me its an unsupported drive!

any help on how to make this drive work with apple's new tools would be greatly appreciated.
