new one to me. iTunes has started scanning the first second of each track then skipping to the next. BUT ONLY on trax that have a "# of ##" in the track column. seriously. if i modify the track info to read "#" (no "of ##" assignment) they play normally. so i go thru a whole album of "# of ##" trax in seconds but as soon as it hits a "#" only track, back to normal. one final note. the trouble albums i ripped using iTunes. others were ripped elsewhere. any ideas?
