USB Audio Hack?

Hi All,

I just purchased a USB audio/mic headset (Planetronics DSP-100). When plugged in, I can no longer hear my speakers. YES, I know this is normal.

My question is there a software hack to change this. Why? I rather leave the headset plugged in. Plus there are times I prefer to have both the headset and speakers play.
