We have a lab of 30 new slotted iMacs running OS9 and Appleworks 5.04. When they use the paint module and try to save, the application crashes and the machine won't boot. It shows the flashing ?

We have alloted more RAM to the application but it still happens. Not all the time - but often. There are 9 machines down now with this problem.

Does anyone have a clue where we should look for a solution? The only funky addition to the system is Foolproof. (I don't use it in my lab, but with 6th graders it's often needed.)

FoolProff does interfere with file-saving -- try disabling it on the remaining machines and see if they still get screwed up.
