I have been seeing a strange looking icon in the upper left corner of my screen. It looks like a battery icon, but it's hard to tell for sure. I know what the file sharing icon looks like so I know it's not that. I originally thought it was only appearing when I was accessing the internet or email, but it appears sporadically when I'm doing anything. Has anyone seen this?

Let me guess...you have Norton installed right?

If you do then what you are seeing is the Norton Disklight. It shows when there is hard drive activity. There is a "DiskLight" control panel that Norton installs that controls this...and if you don't want it then turn off this same control panel in your extensions manager.
