I have installed 9.1 and I see NO difference in the running of it. All it did was make Snitch incompatible, and a few other programs. What are the benifits, or drawbacks (or better yet; whats new?) with 9.1. I havn't found anything in any literatue to show what is new!

According to MacCentral, "users can now share their USB printers over Ethernet networks via USB Printer Sharing 1.0" in Mac OS 9.1.
If only I could download the 9.1 updater to try it out!

Let's have a 3 lbs sub-PowerBook with AirPort and 5 hour battery life now!

Until we get a 3 lbs sub-PowerBook, the 12-inch PowerBook will do.

You can also do that in 9.0.4 by downloading USB Printer Sharing separately.

I want to hear if the memory management is more efficient. That's been the big complaint with 9.0.x
Is the OS taking any less memory with VM on? off?

with a G3 300 DT DVD the system memory did increase with 9.1, but the speed did as well. Norton in addition to snitch had problems when on restart it tried to open FileScan, and thing happend that froze computer. With 9.x in general, I have had more freezing problems sometimes random with the system.
