I just noticed this was available on the apple support page. Is this something I need, and how do I know if I already have it?
I'm running OS 9.0.4 on an iMac 350.

you have it... it is part of any MacOS install, look in your Apple Extras folder...

D. Foy (and all the little Foys): a newbie, as it appears that tioga is, and there is no shame there, is hardly likely to do a custom install of MacOS, no?!?

But if you did a custom install of your system, you might not have it. If you do, then go to your extension folder, open the folder called MRJ Libraries, click on the file MRJLib and get info. It will tell you what version of MRJ you have.

The only time I use MRJ is when I have Internet Explorer open. If you use Netscape Communicator, you may not need the download. There are other programs that use MRJ, but I can't name any right now.

Thanks moderators. I am a newbie and definitely do not custom install much, let alone the Mac OS.
