Beamer: How to Make Video Mirroring "On" a Default Setting??

Hello everybody,

does somebody know whether it is possible to make video mirroring "on" a default setting? When I connect a beamer to my powerbook, it mostly starts up with video mirroring "off". So I get two desktops and need to go to the monitor control panel or to the control strip in order to turn video mirroring "on". Since I usually do not use a second monitor where I could make use of two desktops, I would like to lock the machine to video mirroring "on". Is this possible under OS 9?
