I use an iMac and I just downloaded Mac OS 9.2 in a Hotline server. I didn't install it in my iMac since I didn't know it was real. So, I put it on a CD and had a relative put it on their G4, one of their partitions. He told me it looks like the real thing and seems a bit faster. He also says there aren't any major upgrades. From what he describes, it's just a Mac OS 9.1 for the G4.

I put a V-TECH sticker on my iMac DV 400 and i'm burnin' Geo Metro's left and right.

<OS 9.2 bug>

Carbonlib 1.3.1 in Mac OS 9.2 is still a problem on certain models like iMac DV with the drag & drop feature...But this time to put Carbonlib 1.2.5 instead doesn't change anything

Indeed 9.2 is out on the streets but not from any HL server. It comes with the new Quicksilvers.

If 9.2 is out on the Quicksilvers, then why can't WE get it for our Macs? I have a Pismo PowerBook and I still use OS 9.1 for my classic apps. The OS plays nice with my OS 10.0.4 but still need to boot into OS 9.1 to do stuff OS X can't. Maybe OS 9.2 will be bundled with OS 10.1. I'm hoping that )S 9.2 will pop up on the Software update soon.

9.2 is basically the same and I don't think it is anything to go jumping for. I checked into and I have it running on 2 machines to test it. It loads a hair faster, but doesn't seem anymore stable than 9.1. The Software update in the Control Panels still doesn't work properly, so they haven't fixed all of the bugs in 9.1. Other than the initial boot speed under OS X I haven't found anything outstanding or different.
Hope it helps.
